Every EWAR unit is primary. Every time, it makes a hole for Baba Yaga to sail through and monster the monsters.
The system is designed for detecting drones, transmitting an alarm signal to the control and alarm panel, and blocking control channels and navigation of unmanned aerial vehicles.
Is this a d&b remix of VH?
Crazy that this can go on inside Russia’s own borders.
The Strizh-3 is a Russian mobile electronic warfare (EW) system designed to counter unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and drones. Developed by New Technologies Telecommunications (NTT), it is a compact system, approximately the size of a football, weighing light enough to be mounted on a small tripod and camouflaged in trenches or bushes.
Key Features:
Consists of 6 directed antennas in a circle and 3 antennas under a circular dome Can recognize over 81 different types of UAVs based on their electronic signals Effective against quadcopters and aircraft-type UAVs Jams radio stations at a distance of up to 3 km
Operational Usage:
Supplied to all fronts in the Russia-Ukraine war Used by Russian tactical units to suppress drones and disrupt enemy command and control channels Can be set up quickly and easily, making it a flexible and adaptable system
Notable Incidents:
Ukrainian forces have reportedly attempted to destroy Strizh-3 systems, with at least one instance documented in a YouTube video showing a Ukrainian FPV drone taking out an EW system Russian forces have used Strizh-3 systems against Ukrainian drones, as reported by Militarnyi and other sources
Comparison to Other Systems:
Unlike regular EW systems mounted on armored vehicles or drones, Strizh-3 is designed to be hidden and camouflaged, making it harder to detect and target Similar features are also found in Russia’s “Serp-VS” EW system, developed by Rostec industrial holding
So they destroyed a anti-drone unit with a drone? Sounds like the russian system is shit at its job.
a drone hovering directly over an anti drone ewar system taking it out with bomb after bomb, no signal degredation whatsoever.
seems… less than ideal as a drone counter measure.
