  1. I have not had these for years, it’s one of the things I miss about home, so moreish

  2. This is the correct amount of coconut mushrooms.

Enjoy your tropical trip! 🏖️ 🍄

  3. If you feel that pack is too much for you I can happily take them off your hands. 😋

  4. Coconut mushrooms look delicious!! But they won’t sell to me because I’m in the USA 🙁

  5. I managed to do this with turmeric – ordered a much bigger bag than I planned to. At the rate I’m getting through it, it will be a family heirloom that outlast me and will be passed down for the next generation to use.

  6. I bought some little hooks that turned out to be 13 inches, usually online it’s the other way round.

  7. I’m sure whatever you don’t manage to eat tonight will be OK to finish off tomorrow

  8. Pop around 2.5kg of them in glass jars (not too full per jar) and keep in a cool dark place to stop them all mushing together, coconut mushrooms are particularly at risk for summer clumping (used to work in a sweet shop) and enjoy snaffling half a kg of them over a day or two

  9. Now if that was Blackjacks I’d be in heaven. My last ½kg bag only lasted a month 😋

  10. Reminds me of when I was in China. Couldn’t speak a word. Tried to buy 10 pork buns from a street vendor, using hand signals – it was only about £2 or something.

I got 10 **trays** of them – about 150 bao.

Happy days, albeit left feeling christmas-dinner-podgy.

  11. I grew up eating so many coconut mushrooms as they’re my mums favourite. Always had them in the house

  12. Do you have a link?

I found some on Amazon, but they cost 10 quid for only 500 g (photos show a bag of 3kg though) and shipping is 25 (!) quid (🤬🤯)

  13. I literally did this this week with turmeric and ground coriander. Did not really consider how much of each 1kg would be but that were so much better value than the small pots you get in supermarkets.

Still, I have a deal with the OH that whomever survives the other has to eat, down-in-one style, whatever’s remaining in the bags at the wake. We are only in our 40’s.
