For those wondering, she’s called Miss Canada Universe because she’ll be representing Canada in the Miss Universe competition.
There’s four big female pageants: Miss Universe, Miss World, Miss Earth and Miss International, and a whole bunch of other competitions. Most countries will send different contestants to different pageants, so (Country) (competition) is used to differentiate the contestants.
There’s going to be Miss Canada World, Miss Canada Earth and Miss Canada International, for example.
