  1. I don’t quite understand: ok, Lukoil’s oil is banned, Putin orders other oil providers to make similar discounts and… and everything comes to the starting point. I see just a few days of bureaucracy. I am even sure that it would be the very same oil. Not a single technical alteration would be made.

  2. This was basically easy pickings for Kyiv. They had the opportunity, they knew they wouldn’t have broken any rules and they went ahead with their plan.

    They’d be stupid not to do this.

    Now, orby and fico have to make a move. They can stick to their current positions or start making strategic changes to their countries’ policies and become more pro-Western.

  3. Ukraine imports 40% of its electricity through Hungary though. They could cut that.
