   So the context is that Currently, our nation is witnessing a massive student protest against the preferential treatment given to the grandchildren of freedom fighters in employment opportunities. Despite their academic merits, deserving students are being overlooked in favor of those with familial connections. This issue has sparked widespread discontent among the youth, who are rightfully demanding equal opportunities for all.
   Unfortunately, the response from our government has been deeply troubling. Our Prime Minister's remarks have further exacerbated tensions, painting the protesters as anti-national elements. To make matters worse, the authorities and members of Chatra League, a student wing of the ruling party, have resorted to violent tactics. Students, both young men and women, have been brutally attacked, with some losing their lives. Even hospitals, such as Dhaka Medical Hospital, have not been spared from these atrocities, as assailants have entered to continue their assaults.
   The situation is dire, worsened by the alarming silence of our local media. They have failed to adequately cover these incidents, leaving us feeling isolated and helpless in our struggle for justice.
