Bayern would have listened to big offers for Joshua Kimmich, but the player is ruling out a move this summer and wants to stay despite PSG’s interest. Therefore, Bayern are now trying to convince him to sign a new contract with a pay cut, as the club needs to reduce the wage structure

Keep him, Josh is and has been a special player for FCB for nearly a decade. Hope they extend.
Not sure why he would take a pay cut, if anything I would expect him to look for a raise on his next contract.
Kimmich is one of the few players that is not overpayed
Just like with other players in the squad, I’m curious how this going to play out.
We need him at RB
I’ll be the optimistic one I guess and say I could see him taking a small paycut, or maybe a shift from guaranteed money to performance based bonuses.
Many players leaving us take paycuts for their next club, why can’t someone who’s already here agree to a paycut for once? At least to me it seems like Kimmich’s favorite option is staying.
I see him taking this when contract runs out.
Hes built a house and got a bunch of kids in Munich
He is not extending his contract, not taking a pay cut, and he is leaving for free next season along Davies. Let’s move past that.
