Are there any interviews with the pilots on what they think about the plane, and how different it is to fly than the migs?

We’ll see. Maybe they can set up a couple of ambush situations for the Russian glide bomb attacks. The F-16s are not the end-all weapon system to defeat the Russians but they certainly make life a lot more “interesting” for Russian combat aviation and air defenses.

Does anybody know if these F-16 pilots are former Mig or Sukhoi pilots or totally new pilots? It sounds like a silly question but I’ve always understood that the western Jets are so different to fly that it wouldn’t necessarily be an advantage to have Russian jet experience. If not, would Ukraine have enough existing jet pilots to go to the F-16 program so the original Ukrainian jets can keep flying as well?

Imagine being able to pilot these beasts by yourself on your land for the first time since training!! Pure hard on just thinking of it.
Need some A10s in the mix now that F16s have arrived.
Great to finally see these aircraft deployed.
My extremely small country of the Netherlands is sending 24 of these planes including equipment, ammo and airfield equipment. I hope we can do a lot more even though we already send a few billion in financial aid and some APC and IFV and stuff. Together with the a lot of other European countries we can help Ukrain out in their first and most important needs. The US can help decisively with the rest. You, as a US citizen, can help us all make a difference by just not voting for the orange clown. Are you a republican? Nothing to be a shame for, be proud of it and proud of who you are, just don’t vote for your party this round. If you have any decency, any empathy with the free world, just don’t vote. No need to fight each other, nothing wrong with being republican but don’t get used by a clown who doesn’t give a fuck about the USA or her future. Time to take responsibility and make sure you can look at yourself in the mirror. Thank you. 🙏
