  1. Basically like the Kentucky derby earlier this year lmao literally won by a nose

  2. INSANE FINISH!!! man the announcers seemed sure it was Thompson who won, this guy was NOT the favorite and it looked like he was behind for most of it. AWESOME

  3. What’s the exact time do we know? it was 4/1000ths of a second I heard the commentator say. So 9.79xx v/s 9.79xx

  4. can you propel your whole body forward like you’re diving into water, or is that against the rules

  5. Both althletes are slightly twisted, Thompson towards the camera and Lyles away

For Thompson it looks like they’re measuring from the part of his chest directly in the centre, but for Lyles they’re measuring from the edge of his front shoulder

  6. The 100m really isn’t Noah’s race. He is an absolute beast in the 200m. Bring home another gold, Noah!

  7. How do they make the exposure correct at everyone’s chest but some feet appear to have a long exposure and some have a short exposure?

  8. How did they solve those kinds of situations before these high resolution photos?

  9. This is why runners are taught to lean their chest forward at the end. Been this way for decades.

  10. Why does the picture show a white floor when they run in “Stade de France” with purple floor?
Does they change the background for better verification?

  11. Can someone help explain what I’m looking at? I don’t see a finish line. Also, is it the feet we are looking at, or any body part (like the hands or head). Assuming hair doesn’t count?

  12. It really is all about that head and neck and Noah was able to stretch it out just a little bit further.
