  9. Great rivalry between Biles and Andrade. So pleased that Rebecca got a gold this Olympic cycle. Her execution in the floor routine was outstanding and I love her dancing elements, it’s so effortless and looks like she’s having a ball of fun.

    The Romanian losing Bronze last second due to the inquiry was tough (but I agree with the decision).

  10. Im not an expert, but how was Maneca-Voinea’s score so low?. I felt she was better than Chiles and Barbosu.

    Now she has 6 medals, more than any other Brazilian athlete.

  20. Love this for her! I’m in the US but it was not Simone’s day for gold with her big steps out of bounds. The 1-2 placement feels right and I love that Rebeca gets to close her games on top of the podium!

  22. She did incredibly well, so happy for her. Her skill is undeniable and she performs with such panache. Her eyeliner is also consistently fantastic.

  27. Was rooting for Biles, but happy for Rebeca. She won very respectfully and gracefully

  29. She’s 151cm. You can clearly see how petite the others are but she always looks much taller.

    Definitely had the best routine. Well done to her.

  31. Proud of the Romanian gymnasts! They gave so much and they did so well. There is hope for Romanian gymnastics because of them, thank you so much!

  36. Three ACL tears and she managed to get a gold and five other medals. Absolutely mental.

  37. Hers was my favourite to watch. She actually executes the dance parts well; I feel like almost all gymnasts are quite awkward with those elements and randomly pose or flail their arms around. Her routine flowed nicely and she moved to the music.

    One thing I notice is how the dance execution is often overlooked because it doesn’t score as high as the tumbles for example.

  39. Worst feeling I lived these Olympics. I did a video crying in front of the TV for the first Romanian Olympic gymnastics medal in 12 years just to see it taken seconds later, I’m still heartbroken.

    I find it extremely weird how Sabrina Voinea (the 5th) did the same routine as in quali, but was noted on difficulty 5.9 instead of 6.2. But it is what it is, great final, congrats girls, shame on the judges.

Very happy to see Andrade finally get a Gold in her amazing rivalry with Biles (only bad thing for me is I love seeing Biles add on to her legacy), plus it makes her the most decorated Brazilian in regard to the Olympics which is awesome. On the other hand that situation between Jordan & Barbosu is just tragic.
