Journalists from Zeit uncovered that Volkswagen has come back to Russia in July 2024 under the brand of “Jetta”. Jetta is a car brand created by Volkswagen Group for Chinese market. An official site under the name of Jetta Motors Russia was registered by Jetta. However upon contact between Volkswagen and journalists from Zeit the site stopped working the next day. Volkswagen declared they “know nothing” about business in Russia.
Take those greedy fucks and make them work from the top floor of the tallest office building in Kharkiv and we’ll quickly discover that preventing sanctions evasion is much easier than we thought.
