Since 1.1.2018 I have tracked what I have done every hour and how happy I have been. Last week I hit 10 000 hours of working.

I have worked for 3 companies full time during this time 2018-2020, 2020-2023, 2023 – current.

I think one of the most interesting things is that pre corona 2019 I worked 95% from home and during corona 2020 95% from office and since then the amount of work days have been increasing each year. I was forced to work from home 2020 but since then I have had very flexible hybrid work opportunity. I like going to the office and meeting my colleagues which can be seen from my happiness data which is always higher or the same when working from the office compared to working from home. I have made another post about how I measure my happiness and another about how I collected what I have done every hour, both can be find in my profile.

Also the decline in working hours per year is pretty funny.

  1. Tracking 10,000 hours is impressive! It’s wild to see how much work patterns shifted before and after COVID. I also found that working from home had its perks, but I really missed the office vibe and face-to-face interactions. It’s interesting how personal happiness can shift based on work environment. Your data shows how flexible work can be, and it’s cool that you’re finding what works best for you. The drop in working hours per year is something I noticed too—seems like a lot of us are trying to balance things out more.

  2. Beautiful until I got to the bottom right and see the color scheme is inverted. So close OP, so close!
