  1. He has a lot of time to look at Olympic memes whilst waiting for the others to clear sub-6m

  2. Had no failed jumps, skipped levels and did all his jumps so effortless, clearing the bar by like a foot. How does someone get so good at pole vaulting?

  3. Duplantis looks exactly like a pole vaulter you would manufacture in a lab to create the ultimate athlete.

He makes it look effortless and in a league of his own.

Shout out to our West Aussie, Kurtis Marschall, making it to 6th in the final with a hole in his ankle. Did us proud mate!

  4. I absolutely love how they’re playing Abba’s, Dancing Queen as he’s running around with the flag.

    Perfection.

  5. He broke the Olympic record by 7 cm and then decided to break it again, but by another 15 cm and set his 9th WR. The guy is 24 and is already the undisputed GOAT of his sport. Actually insane.

  6. For people to understand what a generational talent he is:

    – Duplantis casually warmed up at 5.95 (silver medal)
    – 2nd place got to 5.95 – 25 cm above the 11th place (and mind you, this is post qualifying)
    – Duplantis won the medal at 6, took the OR at 6.10 (+6) and then WR (and new OR) at 6.25

In other words: Duplantis was further ahead of #2 than #2 was of #11.

This absolutely dominance is truly exceedingly rare. Hats off!

  7. Everybody talks about Yusuf Dikec. Guess which country banned Instagram with a made up reason.

  8. No, he didn’t after breaking the record. He did it in a previous successful attempt.

    A legend.

  9. He is carmey and chalamet cloned together. I expect he eats a five star dinner in the back of a sand worm.

  10. He wants to be in the superhero gang meme that was posted a couple days ago. I think this qualifies.
