[OC] Data was loaded, analyzed, filtered and plotted using Python, utilizing the Plotly package. In these bar charts, I examined the TMDB dataset for trends in movie releases by the day of the week. Traditionally, most movies are released on Fridays, as shown in the third plot, which highlights the total number of releases. However, this trend doesn’t necessarily align with average box office returns. As revealed in the first plot, movies released on Tuesdays and Wednesdays actually have higher average box office revenue compared to other days of the week.
This presents an interesting trend that challenges conventional release strategies. For a deeper analysis and discussion, I leave it up to you.
