  1. this is so embarassing i hope the government loses bad and everybody involved in this nonsense gets sacked

  2. Germany is so fucked up by post holocaust politics that they can’t even critique the monstrosity that the current Israel government has become .

  3. Absent a basic respect for free speech, which Germany lacks, the case appears valid under current law

  4. > “Judea and Samaria [The West Bank] will not be handed to any foreign administration; **between the Sea and the Jordan** there will only be Israeli sovereignty.” – Likud (Israeli Government) Platform.

  5. It is like arguing that singing the Nazi anthem is not a problem as long as you are just pro-German but don’t support the Nazi’s.

I saw the same people singing this as well as calling for a “global intifada” in the streets of Amsterdam. The last 2 intifadas, the people that were targeted were Jews in Israel. I guess a global intifada would be Jews anywhere in the globe. If this isn’t hate speech, then nothing is.

  6. Germany doesn’t have free speech so I expect this will get banned too. It might seem great to ban the swastika or whatever but this is where it leads, the first amendment is still the best system

  7. It’s shameful that there is even a possibility a chant for freedom gets ruled hate speech and thus outlawed. In Germany of all places.

  8. People always say it’s guilt and remorse from Germany but all I see is advancing their geopolitical interests. It’s a nice way to spin amoral positions into the exact opposite.
