Bayern has the perfect squad to play a 4-3-3, I’ve never understood the obsession with the nominal 4-2-3-1.

Stani was good, but Boey was pretty average, Id still use Stani as RB, and Davies, yeah hes not perfect, but his speed brings alot to the table, so if he stays, for sure yould be my starting LB, Upa and Kim starting CBs, rest looks fine, even tho I think we’ll play a 4-2-3-1, pair Aleks/Palhinha with Kimmich in the midfield, and then depending on the oponent, use Olise or Musiala as CAM, and then combine with Gnabry/Sane (when healthy) on LW or RW depending which of those 2 plays CAM and ofc, Kane upfront. The team looks realy promissing right now, will be interesting to watch once everyone is back for the first Bundesliga game, think Olise might miss the Pokal game due to him playing the final on friday.
Lol boey .. And Upa had 3 years to prove something. He will start again in September and be the best defender in the world for 3 month and in January/February it’s going to be hell. Like always
I am actually a major fan of this as long as Boey can grow into the roll and Ito becomes everything we hope for. If not, Id throw Kimmich at RB with Goretzka in front if he can use that pre season Tottenham game as fuel and Davies as LB.
Kimmich at RB and Goretzka in midfield seems to be a better fit
This squad is terrifying on paper. I hope Kompany does his best in man-management.
not at all… its fairly defensive. swap kimmich with an offensive midfielder / winger and put musiala at 8/10… Kimmich could play RB… Ito is injured… stanisic will not be in the 1st 11
