Good player, not gonna deny that. But we have plenty of cover and Fermin rising. Why spend money we scrape together to get an injury prone player that does not cover a gap
Barcelona needs Nico Williams more than Dani Olmo, although both are crucial players. Hopefully, the team can reach an agreement with both of them.
Not as bad as everyone thinks, has been playing more like an attacker than a midfielder, he will go through basically no adaptation period with his teammates, of course he isnt what most of us wanted, but the team is significantly better with Olmo, definitely a signing thats bolsters our attack and not our midfield as most twitter/reddit tacticos are saying, a really good signing, not a perfect signing, not a priority one, but a really good signing that will make the team better nonetheless. Curious to see how Flick uses him, on paper makes sense to deploy him as a left winger, with Olmo as an interior when on possession and Balde overlapping.

Gundo 100% starts all games, Pedri if healthy has to start. When both hin and gundo played we looked amazing.

Gavi, fdj, fermine, olmo none of them play a pivot or holding dm.
So what do we do in this situation ? Start gundo and olmo upfront? Olmo on the left ?
I think he’s a great player but will suck with us. He was fantastic for spain because rodri and Fabian. All he had to do was crash the box.
With us he will be asked to play left and cut inside while maintaining possession. Something he hasn’t done yet. If he can do that, he will be great. If he doesn’t, he will be a waste for 60 mils
Should have gone after ruiz, kante, rabiot, zubimendi and wait for Nico.

We’ve now spent north of 100 million on a striker and an attacking midfielder. Deco should’ve been sacked long ago now this is just criminal mismanagement
I think hes great just unfortunately doesnt add to our weaknesses in the team we have like a missing dm or a wide touchline winger.
Nico offers so kuch versatility compared to dani.
Danis also injury prone so right now it seems pedri and olmo as the 10 eith gundogan filling whatever role is needed in the midfield. Fermin as a backup still since we know as an impact sub he still produces right now. Olmo can also be another inside forward more of what we need apparently…
I hope he does well and stays injury free but i keep hesring hes more injury prone then pedri thats crazy

It means the CDM or the LW will be patched up by some CAM we have for no reason
I guess majority of us didn’t want him at the club but fuck it he’s here now let’s support the guy because he may not be the profile we should have gone for but he still is a great player tho!

I called this weeks ago. Nico was a pipe dream. LaPorta had to get a ‘marquee’ signing to somewhat offset the KM singing at RM, but this ain’t it. That’s all this singing will ever be, a knee jerk reaction to RM getting KM.
And to top it off, the buzz is Olmo will play left wing. A CAM playing left wing, where have I seen this before?
