I am interested to know how these number changed before and after covid.
Need to take these with a grain of salt as they use company wide numbers not just pharma divisions.
Johnson and Johnson is a huge company that makes medical devices and countless other non pharmaceutical products.
For example, they compete with Abbott Laboratories in the med device space. Abbott’s pharmaceutical products are separated into its own company(Abbvie) so the comparison between the two using this metric has limited use.
Is this before or after their massive industry-wide layoffs?
I work in the sector and can’t help but feel like I made a mistake. Pharma jobs used to be somewhat stable and good paying. Now you have 10 year veterans having to apply for entry level jobs cause the finance bros need a bump in their stock portfolio.
I absolutely lament the state of science. From academia to industry: it’s been hollowed out by greedy parasites
