  1. Mijaín López, retiring with style. five golds and a mic drop moment with those shoes on the mat. RESPECT!!!!!!

  2. Imo one of the most dominant runs of any athlete ever. Literally won 6-0 in the finals and only gave up 2 points in 4 matches. AT ALMOST 42 YEARS OLD HES A BEAST.

  3. an amazing moment to watch a legendary athlete i hope all the best for him in his retirement!

  4. Just getting the shivers watching him place those boots in the ring. Absolute legend. Hoping LA2028 invites him to be a torch bearer in recognition of his achievements.

  5. I heard he’s first person in ~2500 years to win five consecutive golds in any individual sport??

  6. I can’t imagine a better way to leave your shoes behind, right after winning your 5th Olympic championship in a row, what an achievement.

  7. This man is just insane, an absolute champion! What a record as well, 5 back to back golds across 5 Olympics. 16+ damn years as a reigning world champion, if that isn’t GOAT status not sure what is
