  1. Terrible. Putin is a tyrant and a certain parallel can be drawn with Hitler regarding foreign policy. Hitler occupied Austria in 1938, Europe's reaction was lukewarm. Putin seized Abkhazia and South Ossetia from Georgia in 2008, the reaction was weak. Hitler won the Sudetenland in 1938 and later marched into the Czech Republic. In 2014, Putin occupied Crimea and helped the rebels in Donbass. And then in the end, after so many concessions, Hitler attacked Poland in 1939 and Putin attacked Ukraine in 2022. Both had complexes of national defeat and resentment. Hitler because of the Treaty of Versailles, Putin because of the collapse of the USSR.
