  1. My opinion is that Ukraine hopes that their border crossing will Inspire a redirection of Russian troops to the area from the other areas. Unfortunately I think Russia realizes that this is a feint and that Ukraine is not going to go more than several kilometers across the border.

  2. In the RUS blogs, this seems to be a diversion, to distract attention from the F16s in Romania. That would portend an attempt to get control of the Crimea and the Black Sea region, again. Odessa is the main strategic target for the RUS. The entire economy of the UKR will collapse if they cannot get money and shipping out of that port. Poland is already saturated with the summer goods out of the UKR. The RUS are starting to take over all of the geologically resource areas, at the northeast side of the UKR. If they control all of those areas, then the UKR will just become a slave state.

  3. Check out rumours on RU preparing a Sumy Offensive (like the Kharkiv Offensive) of the last week. You'll have the reason for this raid right at your fingertips then. Ukraine needed to know if they would need to reinforce their Sumy border region. And as they had to expect a large RU troop concentration (some 20.000 the rumours said, IIRC) the troops they sent to look packed some serious punch. Now they would seem to know the 20K troops were fake, given that RU had to redeploy troops from elsewhere to fight off the incursion, and can move some troops scheduled for Sumy defence to Vovchansk or Toretsk, while RU has to reinforce its border. πŸ€·β€β™‚

  4. So, 3 days to Moscow? This is not an invasion, just a PR stunt. As for increasing morale, it is like a caffeine shot. Once the effect wears off, reality will set in.

  5. Are they, β€œUkrainian,” forces? I thought it was The Russian Brigade? They are Ukrainian allies, but not actually Ukrainians. They are all Russians. Surely that’s important?

  6. It's so cool when the enemy says that he's losing on his shitty channels: The missiles ran out back in 22, Putin was deposed in 23, Putin died of cancer in 23, Crimea will be taken away in 23, Krynki is a springboard to launch an ATTACK. And now the Kursk region, the fight against the civilian population. The Kursk operation is amazing, 280 people entered on armor, 120 snouts were able to return without armor. The goal is completed – 160 fragments. You lazy couch potato experts believe everything that is poured out to you from shit channels like this one. Without comparing information from independent sources China, Kazakhstan, Turkey.

  7. If Ukraine takes russian land they can swap it for Ukrainian land if they are forced to the negotiating table later on by the US ….. Thats the reason in my opinion

  8. I think analysts and YouTubers might want to chill a bit and withhold judgement regarding the Kursk operation. Could be an entirely rarional part of a larger operation — to which no one presently wetting their pants about it is privy.

Ukraine is being extremely quiet about this. Pretty much all info is coming from the Russians. I strongly suspect there's a specific reason for this operation.

  9. Desperate times leads to desperate measures, I think this is Ukraine trying to regain the initiative much like the Ardenne offensive before Nazi Germany capitulated. Let's see if the Ukrops are more successful than the Nazis .

" the Ardennes Offensive, also known as the Battle of the Bulge, was indeed a major last-ditch effort by Nazi Germany to regain the initiative during World War II. Launched in December 1944, it was Adolf Hitler's bold and desperate attempt to turn the tide of the war in Germany's favor. The offensive targeted the Allied forces in the Ardennes Forest, aiming to split the British and American forces, capture the vital Belgian port of Antwerp, and force a negotiated peace on favorable terms for Germany.

The offensive took the Allies by surprise and initially achieved significant gains, creating a "bulge" in the Allied lines, hence the name. However, the Allies eventually managed to regroup, repel the German advances, and inflict heavy losses on the German forces. The failure of the Ardennes Offensive marked the beginning of the end for Nazi Germany, as it severely depleted their remaining resources and left them vulnerable to further Allied advances."
