I feel called out. On multiple levels. I’d better take my vagabond, female self (and my ukulele) to a better class of establishment.
The best word I know for a beggar is a “Mumblecrust”.

Persons of doubtful reputation is now my new go to.
Yeah but without a velvet rope, they cannot hope to enforce it.
Isn’t this just a generic sign you can buy on Amazon etc? Seen them in people’s garages before.
What about female of “certain” reputation?
I would take that “By Order” as meaning that these categories of people aren’t allowed if ordered in advance but it’s OK if they just rock up unannounced. I’ve always found that a spontaneous party is always more fun than a planned one anyway so I get where they’re coming from.
Argh, why is formatted like that? It’s all centre aligned apart from ‘premises’. Mildly infuriating.
