  1. This took far too long to make happen. We all know Russia has been doping and should be banned for awhile for it. It shouldn’t have taken two years.

  2. Do they receive the medals that the other Paris winners get? Or something that is the same or similar to what was given out in Beijing 2022?

  3. Absurd how long it took. Being fifteen doesn’t give you an excuse to test positive. If anything it’s just a sign that we shouldn’t have fifteen year olds in the olympics.

  4. Is there a video of this? I would really like to see it? Either on peacock or somewhere else

  5. So when is China going to get their swimming medals taken? They tested positive for the exact same drug (TMZ) and gave the exact same excuse (food contamination).

  6. Madison Hubbell had a baby (who is now 6 months old) in the time between winning and receiving her medal. Absolutely crazy.

  7. This felt like watching a crossover episode of your favorite TV show. All of a sudden the winter stars are on screen and it was just great.

The circumstances that led up to them getting their medals two years later, however, are very not great.

  8. This is nice and long overdue, but feels incomplete. Canada should be up there with the US and Japan.

  9. I love there’s a ceremony and the proper recognition of the athletes.

I read an interview with our athlete that was granted a medal for London Olympics, I think, after yet another doping DQ. And while he was happy-ish about the medal, they way he got it, by post, with little to no recognition in media, no ceremony made him really sour.

  10. This was a very heartwarming moment and a well deserved one at that πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ πŸ‡―πŸ‡΅ Well worth the wait.
