  1. This is very sad. People bought this tickets one year ago and they planned this. And comes someone and try to destroy it ?

I mean, of course they are right and they had the best decision to cancel it.

Taylor is the most powerful and famous celebrity in the world now. So all the eyes are on her and people asks why she has so many securities and police around her and her shows.

It has only London in the Europe leg of the tour. Probably they will get more security for the 5 concerts in London (I think it’s still 5, it was 8 but she did already 3)

  2. Three Taylor Swift concerts have been cancelled after two men were arrested linked to an alleged terror plot targeting the events.

Swift was due to play at the Austrian capital’s Ernst Happel Stadium on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

But event organiser Barracuda Music said in a post on its Instagram late on Wednesday that “we have no choice but to cancel the three scheduled shows for everyone’s safety”.

Two men have been arrested in Austria in connection with a suspected terror plot which, police said, targeted major events in Vienna, including the upcoming Taylor Swift concerts.

Federal and state police swooped on the individuals ahead of the upcoming concerts set to start on Friday, Sky News’ US partner NBC News reported.

According to Vienna state police director Franz Ruf, one of the arrested was a 19-year-old man who allegedly pledged his allegiance to the terror group IS.

  3. This is heartbreaking for the fans and a huge blow to the city.

Radicalized men are a scourge on our society.

  4. As a Macedonian, I am so sorry for all this shit.. some real scumbags have spread out of this country

  5. This sucks.

We are driving to Vienna on friday morning. Of course we understand, but man this hurts so bad.
I wish they could reschedule it somehow.

  6. You see Nicki, this is a reason for cancelling a concert. Not for some romanian accountants protesting on a monday morning

  7. Well, so, no “flying from the States to Vienna and watch a concert” but “flying from the States to Vienna and eat Kaiserschmarrn and Schnitzel and go to the Prater”. That’s not what the Swifties expected 🙁

  8. I feel sorry for the Swifties who see this cancelled all because some braindead cultmembers would try and stop people from having fun.

I agree this is the best choice in matter of security but still, this feels like letting them win…

  9. I’m still astonished why they avoid Poland. We had three shows in row just before. And before anyone says something about lack of immigrants – they can cross the border and perform the attack in like 5 hours drive.

  10. Another of those isolated incidents that are becoming more than incidents and less than isolated with each passing day…

  11. Give the terrorists to the Swifties who had the concert canceled. They will take care of them.

  12. – Bataclan terrorist attack in Paris in 2015
    – Manchester Arena bombing in Manchester in 2017
    – Crocus city hall terrorist attack in Moscow in 2024

There is a pattern here. Terrorists like to target concert halls. A lot of people packed in the same place, limited access and exits, limited security.

65 K people were expected for each of these concerts. There is no way to secure properly against such a threat. Concert security is not made to face determined terrorist psychos with assault rifles and bombs.

  13. Terrorists won this one.  Mass disruption of civilized society without firing a shot.

  14. The thing about these Islamic extremists (and yes, we all know that’s who they are at this point) is many of them believe this stuff is “immoral” but want to like it anyway. They can’t reconcile liking Taylor Swift with their beliefs, so they have to destroy one or the other. And since so many Muslims hold that religion as the core of their very being, Taylor Swift is the one who gets bombed to resolve the cognitive dissonance.

  15. Oh, no. A friend has been talking of going to this concert for almost an entire year. Absolutely gutted for her, but at least everyone stayed safe. 🙁

  16. Makes me think if that crazy guy in Albion killed the children for terrorist reasons as well. Maybe in extremist channels in the islamist world someone pumped up crazy anti-Taylor Swift hate or something.

  17. Going after swifties is probably one of the few things that can radicalise women, you do not want that fanbase being mad at you.

  18. i’ve never liked taylor swift, but how fucked do you have to be to want to attack a venue full of young people eagerly waiting to see their favorite musician, and have the time of their lives?

  19. “There will be a time where the terrorists will start coming from Europe”

    He was not wrong.

  20. I never expected I’d get to see TS in my life, being from the balkans and all. Last year I managed to get tickets for a Vienna show. Well just to get this news on the train ride from my country to Vienna. Wow this feels sooo bad.

  21. Fucking hell, that could have been another Manchester.
    Glad they got the scumbags.

  22. Lol dumb idiots, try to attack the one group who still wants you in Europe, leftist women xD

  23. Can we please once and for all start locking illegal border crossers up and only allow people who are a net benefit to the union into it?

sick of this whole shit going to more shit just because one religion and their followers are stuck in their low IQ development phase!

  24. This will cause major uproar in Austria, our society is heated already against our Muslim neighbors. Tons of more hate and discord to come towards Muslims and in turn radicalization of youths will go down as well. It’s a tragic spiral of hate leading to more hate.
