Putin ‘humiliated’ by Ukrainian incursion into Russia | Bill Browder

“This is a war he started which has now bitten off a piece of Russia.”

Ukraine’s incursion into the Kursk region of Russia could become “even more humiliating for Putin” if Ukrainian troops can continue to hold the territory, Bill Browder tells Frontline on #TimesRadio.

  1. Total nonsense. Ukraine makes a quick sacrificial incursion into Russia proper and like all the previous silly things Ukraine has done it just gets men killed, equipment lost and is quickly repelled. Browder is just a bitter and twisted man.

  2. Times radio is like pravda of the ussr ,giving us loads of disinformation about whats going on….'The Russians are reduced to fighting with shovels 'come on stop it you damned liars you fool no one!

  3. Browder is a voice of clarity in a messy media space of people working to build their own visibility by problematizing this issue. YouTube should regulate its propaganda, which it profits from.

  4. Its naughty of Bill to mis-represent the reasons for the payment of "a ransom" to Iran – Bill knows well why it was paid – re frozen payment to Iran for arms they never received – it was owed to them. Iran is a dangerous theocracy – but lets be truthful – she was held by Iran to enforce a payment that was [OVER] due

  5. Bill Browder and his corporate raider company was run out of Russia by Putin: that's why he's salty and whinging.
This incursion into Russia will last for maybe one month at most, probably less. Why? Logistics. Ukraine and NATO don't have the theatre logistical dominance; Russia does.

  6. It's great to see Ukraine pushing onto Russia although I think they will pull out in a week or two I wish they would try and stay there.of Ukraine could hold this area they could possibly swap it for Ukrainian land or something else.

  7. The reality is that US citizens are taken hostage all the time because the US is willing to pay ransoms in one way or the other.
Taken US citizens as hostages is big business with extremely much money to gain just because everyone knows that the US most likely will pay at the end.
Yes, there might be a risk of Special Forces killing you, but the possible huge payout more than outweigh the risks.
And for a country like Russia are there no risks at all related to take US citizens as hostages.
They just arrest them and accuse them for something and put them in some really bad prison to force the US to do what they want.

  8. Tell all Western citizens that they are on their own if they get arrested while travelling in RuZZia. They are brave folks, they can work without a net.

  9. Let's be frank. The Russian so-called "dissidents" Kara-murza, Yashyn, and Pivovarov have started spreading Kremlin narratives the second they landed in the West. Namely, they have been advocating for Western sanctions on Russia to be lifted. They also claim that Russian people are innocent in this war and even Russian soldiers in Ukraine are not to be held accountable. Looks to me like it was a bad mistake to exchange these dudes for Kremlin's murderers and moles.
