Ukraine war: Ukrainian troops make unprecedented incursion into Russia’s Kursk region
Around 1,000 Ukrainian troops have penetrated several miles into Russia’s Kursk region in an ongoing incursion that appears to have caught the Russian military by surprise.
Russia’s Kursk region has gone into a state of emergency amid the attack.
Russian president Vladimir Putin has described the cross-border attacks as a “large scale provocation”, but Ukrainian officials are yet to comment on the claims.

Funny thing is that Russia declared on 6th that it had pushed Ukrainians back to their side of the borders whereas in reality as of 7th Ukraine still controlled 11 settlements and advanced 15 km deep. They captured more ground in a day than Russian army in a month.
