Why has Ukraine invaded Russia’s Kursk region?

Russia has declared a state of emergency in its Kursk region after Ukrainian forces apparently managed to advance almost 20 kilometres from the border.

Moscow claimed a thousand Ukrainian troops backed by tanks and armoured vehicles had crossed over the border, while video has emerged purportedly showing dozens of Russian soldiers being captured.

  11. You can tell when Ukraine receives a fresh batch of American tech because Ukraine goes on the offensive. Then when Russia halts the offence and pushes the Ukrainians back, Zelensky goes on another begging tour.
