Kerch bridge strike could follow hit on Putin’s submarine as attacks on Crimea grow|Adm. Chris Parry

“it looks like maybe the Ukrainians that are trying to probe and take out the air defences of the Kerch Bridge area before they take it out with something else.”

Intensified strikes on Russian naval bases and air defences in Crimea could be a build up to an attack on the Kerch Bridge, Rear Admiral Chris Parry tells Frontline on #timesradio

  1. It is in Russia's interest to not settle. An armistice will prevent Ukraine from joining NATO. If Ukraine did join NATO that would be the end of Russia's plans. NATO on the otherhand needs to modernise its constitution in order to recognise Russian intentions and allow Ukraine to join NATO. Russia would not be prepared for such a bold move now, but who knows in the future. Time to change NATO and give Russian's fifth columists like Hungary an ultimatum.

  2. wheres the footage of this hit? A second hit btw as the sub was damaged previously, else this is just cope. The old bloke stated 'rumours' so not factual – tip top reporting, nothing like misinformation at its best

  3. Kerch bridge is purely civilian now though – so whats the point, the incursion into Kursk used US equipment, so an ideal trump card for Russia to use should any peace talks happen

  4. Moscow horde´s war record :-
1856 defeated by Britain and France
    1905 defeated by Japan
    1917 defeated by Germany
1920 defeated by Poland, Finland, Estonia and all Baltic states
    1939 defeated by Finland
    1969 defeated by China
    1989 defeated by Afghanistan
1989 defeated in the Cold War.
    1996 defeated by Chechnya
    2022 defeated by Ukraine
WW2 won USA/Britain , meanwhile Stalin's officers were shot or sent to the Gulags. Millions went to the Gulags, including Solzhenitsyn
Moscow's only victories come from invading smaller countries :-
    a) Hungary 1956
    b) Czechoslovakia 1968
    c) Moldova 1992
    d) Georgia 2008

  5. Chris is spot on. If the russians shut off access to the black sea all the way to Romania, they severly limit Ukrains ability to ship grain out and make money. Great analysis.

  6. After watching some of the one-sided reporting on the UK matters on Times Radio over the last week, I can't appreciate enough James' interviews. Top job as always 👍

  7. 18:00 Besides any seaports that Russia may take, you need to also pay attention to the mines and other natural resources that are found in the conquered regions… When the world stops believing in Russia and in any value that the Ruble represents (currently trading at 1 Ruble = 0.012 United States Dollar) the only means of currency will be Gold and Oil (Black Gold).

  8. Incredible how all these think tanks can plan for the collapse of Russia ..but have no idea on how to stop the riots in Rotherham…first prove you can stop riots i n your own Country

  9. are you looking to have your opinions reflected back at you ?

or interested in a wider perspective ?

    let’s think endgame … 🤔

chances that ukraine will conquer russia and take their land ?

chances that russia will conquer ukraine and take their land ?

if ukraine pursues peace, some russian-speaking ukrainians will become russians … some ukrainian-speaking ukrainians will invariably have to move house.

or russia could use nukes and really mess things up for ukraine 🤷🏽‍♂️
