  1. I always say in football if you’re well liked them you’re doing something wrong

  2. Cost we’re the new kid on the block basically. We started our dominance in like 2012 and that’s quite young. It’s only gonna run it’s course though. Eventually we’ll be one of the biggest in the world, as we gain more and more support with the new gens.

  3. Barca fan here.
Its simple, city are the strongest team in the world with the best manager, breaking all records hence why the hate.

The same thing when pep was at barca, everyone hated barca cus they were too good, simple as that.

  4. Because City is more successful than most Prem clubs have ever been, and there’s no sign of this winning streak ending anytime soon. Nobody likes dynasties; same reason why everyone hates Juventus in Italy; same reason why everyone hates Bayern in Germany; same reason why everyone hates Benfica in Portugal; and same reason why everyone hated or still hates United too. The majority of people who saw Liverpool being immensely successful in the 1970s and 1980s are either not alive anymore or too old to participate in the internet discourse. The 3 clubs that get the most hate are City, United, and Arsenal, which are basically the most successful clubs of the Premier League era. The “problem” is that City are better than prime United and prime Arsenal were back then, and people are well aware that it’s just a matter of a decade or so until City is irrefutably above United and Arsenal. If no club steps up to stop City, the Premier League is going to turn into something akin to what La Liga is, a league where two clubs will share 90% of the titles and the better club will win a lot more often than the second. The only club that is well on its way to match City is Arsenal and, to be honest, I have never once feared Arsenal, as good as they are, they are still not there and may never even be. All Chelsea, Liverpool, Spurs, United fans are seeing their clubs fall behind; they know exactly what the next decade is going to be like for them, they already realized City are gonna run with it most years and for a League that should have 6/7 candidates, that’s not very good. Though, the answer is simple, be better than City, and they just aren’t. If City keep at it like this, City are going to become the most accomplished club in Premier League history in the next 15 or so years and I’m sure most United and Liverpool fans would rather die before see that happening on their lifetime.

  5. Success breeds jealousy, envy and to some extent hatred in all walks of life. Name one success story without haters.
