Ukraine launches cross-border ground attack into Russia | LiveNOW from FOX

On Wednesday, Russia claimed Ukraine launched a cross-border ground assault into the country’s southwestern Kursk region, about 320 miles from Moscow. Russian President Vladimir Putin described it as a “large-scale provocation” as his officials asserted that they were fighting off raids for a second day. It’s said to be one of the largest incursions into Russian territory since the war began. Putin met with his top defense and security officials to discuss what he called the “indiscriminate shelling of civilian buildings, residential houses, ambulances with different types of weapons.” According to the Russian Defense Ministry, hundreds of Ukrainian troops supported by tanks and armored combat vehicles had crossed into the country.

  1. not only artillery but air support, ive heard the Ukrainians found out the Russians moved most of their SAM batteries from Kursk to Crimea, and the area was sparsely defended by poor quality rosgvardia and conscripts, so that is why the Ukrainians with one brigade made up of battle hardeneed well motivated veteran Ukrainian troops supported by artillery , air support and local air superiotiy vs. Poorly motivated trained Russian conscrupts and Rosgvardia who have ZERO combat experience , this is why the Ukrainians were able to advance 15 kms in a few days. since the Russian conscruipts and Rosgvardia mostly surrendered or fled en masse and I heard they left abandoned many of their heavy weapons and tanks hahaha. Even the Russian chechens retreated haha

  3. ukraine hasn t attacked russia,they are there to free its people from nazi in moscow giving orders from kremlin. they are denazifying russia and next step should be a referendum to help those poor russians and annexe their land to a free country like ukraine. they should make reducation program about how the nazis survived ww2 and got to moscow. ukrainians are good people even in times of war go and help their enemies……. russians should agree i mean they see denazifying everywhere. lolllloooolll….

  5. UPDATE: (since Fox is hopelessly out of date): Several BRIGADE sized Ukrainian forces have penetrated 30km into the Russian Federation in the general direction of Kursk. Putin's government is in a state of panic with no plan to stop this new offensive…

  8. Masterminds of War…Thats what I mentioned back in 2022, actually way back in 2014, when they Started the Plot 😢..For every Millimeter they take in Ukrain-We will gain it back in Russia and just change Geological Borders on the Map-Russia will not have more Territory-maybe more Body Bags…😢

  17. What Ukraine has done, and yet none of the so called experts get it – none that I have seen. Russia is already moving 10's of thousands of troops and Hundreds of Armored vehicles. This costs tons and tons of Fuel, and other supplies, and this movement is in the open thus open for attack by Arty, Himars and ATACKMs. Second the town Ukraine has occupied holds the second largest gas and oil hub in all of Russia. We are talking BILLIONS of dollars in infrastructure which Russia cant make and with sanctions cant buy. While I dont know if they can make it, they are 20KM from a MAJOR Nuclear Power plant and if they can get there, they can shut it down. For the retired Generals, and so called security experts, DUHHH think about it. Yes killing that pipeline will cut some supplies to Europe. Well too bad, help Ukraine end this and you can go back to kissing Russian rear ends. Yes this is going to cost Ukraine, but it will cost Russia much much more. And Provides a huge morale boost for the Ukrainians.

  27. The Russian army is the second strongest in the central Russian Kursk region. The Kadyrovites could have been the third, but they fled as soon as they noticed signs of the Ukrainian Armed Forces on the horizon
