As someone currently residing abroad where there’s a jaffa cake-shaped hole in my heart (full ecplipse), colour me intrigued…my rampant craving for Jaffa Cakes knows no bounds.

Used to love Coke flavoured jelly as a kid, I think it disappeared when E numbers became an issue. If they taste like that then I’m all in!

They’re… fine. They taste vaguely sweet. If you didn’t tell me what they were, I wouldn’t have said cola bottle. They have a vaguely pick’n’mix tinge to the sweetness. But there’s not a big cola flavour off them I found.
Exactly what it says on the tin, they taste just like cola bottles, but are otherwise jaffa cakes.
Not sure I would buy then again, but had to out of curiosity this time.
I saw Jaffa cake and smiled and then my eyes moved down to cola bottle and my brow furrowed a bit in confusion…why did they need to do this? You don’t have to mess with things when they are perfectly fine just as they are.

The nature of a well established product like this is that they have to keep growing the business, but Jaffa Cakes are already a household name. So they have to make alternative ones to grow the business.
It’s why there’s so many random kinds of Dairy Milk bar now cos heaven forbid a company just make a single, solid product.
