I dont know shit about boxing or sports but I was rooting for her after all the shit she’s been through. I’m so happy for her!
I was rooting for her so hard! Fucking hell she deserves it!
I love that she won by decision and the hogs that were transvestigating her out here acting like she was touch of death-ing everyone.Β
Hell yes! Great fight, maβam! You did it!!!
Twitter rightoids and Terfs will become double-y insufferable.
Last round she was having fun I’m so happy for her
Congrats to our champ ! Totally deserved π₯π₯π₯
I’m in algiers, and it’s literally shaking with fireworks and celebrations. She single-handedly made the entire country tune in to watch the olympics in the same way they do for football.
Elon Musk and JK Rowling just did a Streisand effect on her and on our country in the best way possible
So happy for my Algerian friends first. Then, to a woman who fought against other fighters but also millions of haters who think they know better than her own father.
Unstoppable! πͺ
I think this might even make me happier than the surprise gold the men brought home in the relay. To have so much hatred and vitriol thrown at you, lies told about you, and then to rise above it all and win the gold medal. Sheβs just fucking amazing and I am so happy for her.
Good for her, especially considering all the bs and noise she had to deal with from a bunch of weird bigots.
Good job!!
Not a fan of boxing but happy to hear this.
I can’t imagine how she must have felt with all those rumors (that the entire world heard) flying about. So happy she got (well, earned) a silver lining at the end at least.
lots of misinformation about Imane Khelif that the ignorant have chosen to believe – congratulatoins to her. In my opinion, her Gold is worth double, having to fight her opponent and the shit that people have been saying.
I couldn’t be happier for her, she has shown not just incredible sportsmanship but talent as well. The final was a great fight.

So awesome, congrats and well deserved!!!
Just outta curiosity, does she have any charities that she runs or affiliated with? Given the shit she was dragged through, I feel like a donation is deserved.
attention is energy = energy is success when it’s channelled into the right thing π
I am so so so so so so proud of her
Go suck it haters. She won it and now she will be a hero in her country Her family has her back. Her village has her back and her entire country has her back.
As far as I’m concerned she’s a woman boxer with a biological advantage, much like Michael Phelps was a swimmer with biological advantages that you could lead you to believe he’d been grown in a lab.
I’m glad she won.
She should be proud of herself but most importantly her endurance, both mental and physical.
Itβs a shame American politics had to in someway make her journey more difficult than it needed to be. Glad she won.
Whatever anyone may think she is, she is an Olympian and a champion!
Enjoy your Golden moment, Imane. The world is with you.
