hiro10’s drill is mindblowing
The difference in how much the judges vs the public cares about power is insane lol. As an outsider I don’t really get why this is apparently not very impressive to the experts.
Edit because I’m watching the finals now and either I’m crazy or they fixed the audio feed and I actually kind of get it now. This morning the commentators would say stuff like “nailed that on the beat” and I was just thinking…no he didn’t at all? Didn’t seem like anyone was on beat. Now watching a lot of the same competitors and it finally seems like they’re on beat. It seems kinda farfetched that they would change the audio during just a few hour break but the difference feels stark.
Rarely has there been a competition where the differences between men and women are so obvious.
him and shigekix were amazing
He was good and full of energy but he put out everything! Can’t complain the audience loves him! His elimination was very heart breaking. He seemed like he didn’t know how the scoring works. But I think he will come out stronger going forward. He’s certainly won all the hearts of everyone!

He was so good, and understandably emotional. I am sure they all were, just to get a chance to represent their respective countries in the Olympics, in the unlikeliest sport. Lagaet was rightfully enjoying his applause in front of a French crowd.
Hiro10 might have got to quarterfinals if he drew in a different group. Shigekix was just really good, as was Victor. (Who, I didn’t know, is married to b-girl Kate from Ukraine! Cute.)

BEST PART OF THIS was undoubtedly Victor hyping him up. That’s the best part about breaking, it’s a whole community and even though they are competing, Victor himself can’t help but get excited seeing Hiro10 going off. Love to see it and great sportsmanship overall!
I’ve loved breaking. I genuinely hope they bring it back. It’s so unique and fun!
