Russia-Ukraine War LIVE | Russia Deploys Troops In Kursk After Ukraine Incursion | India Today LIVE

The Russian Defense Ministry on Saturday released footage it says shows military personnel and equipment deploying in the Kursk region intended to snuff out the Ukrainian forces that crossed over into Russia earlier this week.

Footage showing helicopters, fighter jets and drones striking targets in forested areas was also distributed, although the AP was unable to independently verify the video.

Elsewhere, Russian President Vladimir Putin chaired an extraordinary session of the Security Council regarding “specific aspects of the fight against terrorism.”

Shortly after the meeting, the three regions bordering Ukraine, namely the Kursk, Belgorod and Bryansk regions declared what they called a counter-terrorist operation.
