  1. Every penny for Ukraine from us got my 200% approval. Hope may help! πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡¦πŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦

  2. Be under no illusions. America has tons and tons of equipment. Pentagon was tasked with supplying up to three simultaneous full-blown global theaters of war.
There is no need to theorize. Just look at their bone yards on google.
Full of reaper drones, we had so many MRAPS they were giving them to Mall Cops it was so bad it became a news worthy scandal.
America is so skittish about casualties these days, we littlery got two of everything sitting parked somewhere. 120 pounds of gear + soldiers can hardly stand upright. AiirSource Military is the now defunct deterrent youtube channel that at one time regularly showcased all the gear. Heck, you know yourselves. You’ve been off training at bases back in the States.

  3. We were going to wrap it in poutine and beaver tails, but then it would cause everyone to flock to it.

Better to be stealthy and avoid maple syrup and other delicious treats

  4. How can you tell is Canadian donated and do the crewmen have a Canadian Monarch crown on there patch cus its Canadian donated? Also fuffly boy!

  5. That’s what happens when you store your tanks in a moist, dark, warm environment 😝

  6. Give’em hell!!

Those beasts can be run hard and dirty as long as you keep fluids in and tracks on.

I hope we send more gear soon.

  7. This has been percolating in my thinkerator for some time. Aight, I’ll finally ask:

Why are they called *main* battle tanks? “Battle tank” is pretty obvious, but what’s with the “main”? Are there auxiliary battle tanks?

  8. For the last pic, that soldier likely got that patch from a Canadian Army soldier who was training them on those tanks, at least that’s my guess. That’s a patch that some Canadian tankers can wear if they have the specific qualification. I’m not armoured so I’m not sure the specifics of exactly what it means. My other guess on how he got that patch is that the boys who donated those tanks might have packed them full of odd little goodies for the Ukrainians when they sent them over i.e. patches, rations, etc. Either way doesn’t matter, BZ Canada for coughing up some of our tanks, another even bigger BZ for the Ukrainians using them. 9. Canadian here,

I’m so glad these machines can be used to defend an amazing ally like Ukraine. I had assumed that the few tanks we had sent would have been lost to attrition by now, it’s gratifying to see at least one has persisted. And has adapted to the local environment, apparently.

Ukrainians have proven themselves to be the better warriors in this war. They just need the metal to fight with.

  10. How come the gun mantlet looks like it’s been stripped down a bit or something?

  11. I don’t have a lot of nice things to say about Trudeau…..But the Liberal’s support for Ukraine was one of his best policy moves. I love seeing the huge seized Russian cargo plane every time I drive by Pearson. Honestly they should repaint it with a huge **Ukrainian** flag.

  12. Never seen this camo used on a tank but it looks like it would be very effective i.e. breaking up the angles of the tank and the metallic shine they can have. Pretty damn cool looking too.
