the fairness of this depends on the size of the caused gridlock. if there were (lets say) 15000 people effected who lost (lets say) three hours each on this, then the total loss of life time is around 5 years, so it seems fair.
but that would be a very large gridlock. do we know how many people were effected and for how long?
was the policemen seriously hurt?

The JSO bellend was a repeat offender who’d got away with cautions or lesser punishments multiple times for the same offence. The rioting Brownshort has apparently not been caught rioting before, I’m sure that if he does get caught again he’ll get a stiffer sentence. The “Just Look at Meeee” bloke did not get a custodial sentence the first time he was caught or the second.
