14 Gold medals for The Netherlands is a brand new record.
Did she try to push Hassan at the start of the video?
Amazing woman. Already before the events of today legendary, but now just fully complete.
To get out of the comfort zone and switch distances and to be able to perform like this, unreal.
Nice push by Hassan

And a sprint at the end. Wow
She never finishes her olympic journey quietly, doesnt she? she gave such memorable moment where she fell but ended up winning gold in one of her event in Tokyo and now she ends her Paris olympic journey with gold in Marathon. such a GOAT
Oh Dutch. The language of Love
That they can have that much of a kick at that point in that long of a race is flabbergasting. It’s faster than most anyone else can run at their fastest for 100 meters and they’re doing it all day.
She ran the 10k not even 48 hours ago. What a double
I got the chills again!!
What a great race it was. Does anyone know what would have happend if assefa had fallen down after the touch with hassan?
An athlete from the Netherlands (at sea level) beating an athlete from Ethiopia (at 2400 meters above sea level) shows that marathon is not just about VO2 max.
Never thought I’d get chills watching the marathon. That was an incredible ending.
The sheer number of long distance races that Hassan participated in this olympics is absolutely staggering! I’m so glad she got a gold!
Does this woman get tired? Does fatigue simply not exist for her. Amazing runner
This made me irrationally happy.
Holy shit howww
I wonder what would happen if someone said “nah I’m not running through the tape”
