  1. Will forever be grateful that he gave us 2 moments where I screamed out in pure joy in my life. The PSG goal and the run vs Madrid which led to Messi’s last minute winner vs Madrid.

  2. Was he a RB or CM? Anyway, was a good rotation option who gave his all with hardly any drama despite some hate he recieved throughout his latter years.

Did he lift a trophy during his Captaincy? He might be the first in a while not to

  3. Thank you Sergi!

Hardworking, selfless, role model with great humility.

Another point for La Masia and another example for all the kids around the world that with passion, love and work they could make it.

  4. The most embarrassing thing to come out of this sub (and there have been quite a few) has been the treatment of Sergi Roberto by a large number of sub members over the years. I bet they will all come and post ‘heartfelt’ messages of gratitude to Sergi now.

  5. Will always love this workhorse of a man. Club legend I would say, wish him all the best.

  6. The Roberto farewell video made me teary eyed ngl. It hurts watching all these legends leave one by one, especially Roberto who had to endure so much unnecessary hate.

I’ll forever love him and respect him for his selflessness and his qualities. Never complained, always gave his best.A proper Culer

If he only has one fan left in the world that would be me

  7. I always had a soft spot for Sergi. Not the most talented Barca player but loved the club, and gave his all playing wherever, whenever he was needed. He’s a legend in my books. Thanks for everything, Sergi!

  8. I’m sad about this news. He is a majestic player, had amazing incredible performances and memorable moments for us fans.

Not sure what Barća are up to letting senior players like him go specially he has so much of heart and fitness still intact.

  9. Gets so much disrespect, but he’s been a dream player for our club. Professional, dedicated, hard working, solid performances, respects the coaches’ decisions, plays multiple roles, never stirred up drama. Great guy, hope he does well wherever he goes and maybe he can still get a starring role somewhere.

  10. I’ll never forgot what you did for us on that beautiful night vs PSG. 🙏💪

  11. It’s like LinkedIn in here, a massive circlejerk.

    Can we be real?
What a bunch of oblivious praise for a man that was a top 5 earner and refused to reduce his wages when they were looking for money to keep Messi.

A great ambassador for the kids at La Masía when he was the only talent we found in some years under Bartomeu.

Besides that- if versatility means to cover inadequacies to distract from the massive Dani Alves shaped hole while being the weakest link in the lineup regardless of where he played, then he was very versatile.

    Some good moments.

Other moments, he cost us games.

He should have left out of respect way earlier when the club couldn’t heart to split from the core players.

This is said with all due respect, just happens not much is due.- don’t insult him on his person, just don’t blindly praise him to the skies for existing.
