Sparkling water + Robinsons is really, really good!

  1. We’ve got a soda stream and always have 4/5 flavours of squash to make fizzy drinks with.

  2. That’s what I always drink in the pub. Only with cheap soda water and generic blackcurrant squash.

  3. Personally I wouldn’t try mixing bleach into this…. Fizzy blackcurrant will be fine without it. It tastes bad.

  4. I do this with diet lemonade and different flavour squashes

    Watermelon strawberry squash with lemonade is amazing ice cold when you fancy a drink treat on a hot day!

    has to be sugar free, just hits different with the sour tang sugar free cranberry juice

  7. Funnily enough, we’ve been doing this for nearly a year now.

    We realised we had gotten to the point that we were consuming ungodly volumes of soda (I say soda, because if I said fizzy drinks, the irony that this is the solution would be too much). Like, easily upward of four litres each week.

    As an attempt to cut them out, we started buying sparkling water, and using it to dilute squash.

    Some are just fizzy versions of themselves (blackcurrant, Vimto etc), but some are surprisingly faithful facsimiles of the real thing (Orange, in place of Tango etc).

    Considerably cheaper, too!

  8. I do this with a delicious raspberry syrup from Tesco. It’s a Polish brand, Lowicz.
