On holiday in France at the mo and the stark difference in quality of food is humbling. In France the food is fresher, tastier, cheaper. The supermarkets are overflowing with nice veg that won’t go rotten a couple of days after purchase. I have trouble digesting meat back in the UK to the point that I rarely have chicken or steak – no problems with eating both over here. The sheer amount of choice is overwhelming.
Not looking forward to the first full shop in Tesco when we get home.
