Stunning views, perfect organization, amazing French music (M83, Kavinsky and so on), no Russia. Can we agree that these are the best Olympics of the modern era? I genuinely started sobbing during the closing ceremony

  2. There were lots of good things. The most beautiful games I agree.

    Some bad things.

    The sailing was a shit show. That’s an entire sport ruined. Triathlon and open water swim were really dodgy because of Seine water quality. Boxing gets more and more ridiculous. Breaking was ridiculous. Ballroom dancing in one of Paris’s venues would have been amazing.

  6. I personally don’t like comparing Olympics. They all have their unique aspects that make them really cool. It was really unfortunate the Olympics during covid had no fans.

  8. I was geeked about Phoenix, but I lost it when I heard Kavinsky. Insane music performances.
