KGB is that still a thing ? I thought it was FSB theese days….
As much as I am enjoying the kursk offensive i feel like the hype train might be a bit too strong.
I might eat my own words, hope i do, but im very optimistically cautious about all this.
It really feels like the beginning of the end for Putin this time.
Bortnikov is in charge of the Kursk situation. Those forces are under his command. This means Gerasimov was removed from that. That may be where this is coming from.
I still call it the KGB too.. Russia can change the names, but a leopard can’t change its spots. Also, the KGB taking over military operations is a good thing for Ukraine.. Russian military operations in Kursk are really disorganized.. Shuffling units around, in chaos, lol
IF this is true – what could be the outcome? Why is that big news?
I really like his channel. He has some really interesting insights into Russian wartime reality.
I’m guessing the reason why he used KGB instead of FSB is because he says Russia is turning into Soviet Union 2.0
We’re going to see Russians dressed as and pretending to be Ukrainians torturing Russians soon, it is the KGB err FSB way.
Labeling this as an “Article” is rather misleading. It is rumor/speculation/a screenshot of some random phone.

The post from Inside Russia (Konstantin) is real but is 1 day old. I cannot find the update (video?) though. I consider Konstantin trustworthy, but this seems a bit dodgy. This happened a day ago and other journalists have not followed up on it?
He’s right but it’s a bit of an exaggeration, Russian troops are now subordinate to the FSB in Kursk.
Sounds a bit too good to be true. However, stranger things have come to pass.
Well he cant respawn Prigozhin :.{(
He’s only been sacked if he’s still alive…
As far as I understand the situation command of Kursk was transferred to FSB, not general command of Russian Armed Forces.
The leadership was given to FSB since russia considers this as a border incident, and border control is FSB:s responsibility.
There has been a lot of hate for FSB POW:s wtihout understanding that they are just measly border guards and officials, even though FSB does some really fucked up shit in counter intelligence and domestically.
I really really hope that the operation in Kursk eill get a leverage to ceasefire negotiations, but a lot of the commentators here do not understand the difference between potatos and potatoes /s
I doubt that anything is going to happen. I mean Prigozhin openly tried to get a coup moving and nothing happened
I thought Putin would do whatever it takes to hang on until after the US elections, but now I’m thinking he may not last that long, maybe mid-October.
So will Gerasimov fall out of ground floor 89 times? Just in case and to proof the point?
This means the FSB is circling the wagons. Time to end this joke of a country.
FSB was running the show for some times already. Prisoners and spy swap a week ago was more or less forced on Putin by the FSB.
Interesting he used the word „Zugzwang“ translated compulsion to move.
I heard it was only the Kursk front he was being removed from.
Garasimov has been almost dead for nearly a year anyway.

I mean, that’s one way to say in a body bag.
