Thought the commentary on Raygun’s performance was a little lackluster so I paired it with my favourite bit of commentary from the Olympics – Noemi Fox’s Kayak Cross gold medal win while her father was commentating.

I love this Raygun girl. Amidst all the seriouness, all of a sudden some1 who gives vibes of “a drunken uncle in a wedding ” dance. Or ” a 8 years old threw tantrum after not getting a second helping of cake” vibes. Love her.

I know breakdancing wasnāt likely to make it as a sport in the next Olympics, but Raygun single-handedly guaranteed that itāll never be an Olympic sport again.

Shame this overshadowed the rest of the competition. France vs. Canada for the menās finals was sick. That flag freeze in the last round was perfectly executed.

This was an absolute travesty. Yes, we’ve all had a good laugh. Yes, this woman had her 15 minutes, but at what cost?
It’s a stain on what the Olympics is truly about. And the people that actually defend this clown performance hurt things even more.
I can’t wait for this to go away, but with RayGun and her supporters STILL defending her and not backing down, the embarrassment will continue.
You guys, I honestly think she’s not bad. I really don’t understand the hate on her.
Her competition was better, yes, but she still did pretty well and there’s no way she deserves the amount of hate shes getting.

In all seriousness, I’m bummed it won’t be in the next one. I really enjoyed watching this event and the other competitors were very talented!
Honestly as a non Australian living here, their commentary for most of this was unbearable. Other than the skateboarding and bmxing it was incredibly self serving.
I’m out of the loop with the whole breaking at the olympics. Was this Raygun chick just terrible at this?
