She smoked everyone one and just looked so divine with her throwing style. I was in awe. I’ve never even watched discus throwing before and you could just tell on her first qualifying attempt (which she nailed) that she was special. She’s the Mondo of women’s discus throwing! If you didn’t see her event, it’s worth a watch. She truly inspired me. What an amazing athlete.

  1. I don’t know anything about her, but I thought it was interesting she had such a different physique than the other throwers (at least from what I saw of the finals). The other discus throwers had way more mass, as is typical in a throwing event. Allman has that lanky athletic build and she used her long levers to absolutely launch that disc.

  2. Both her and the woman that won gold in shot put, Yemisi Ogunleye, used to do gymnastics. Lesson to me is if you want to want to be the world’s best at spinning around and throwing something, start your training in a gymnastics studio.

  3. I love her! Most amazing physique ever. Pure perfection. She flew from US to France. Threw twice – one of quali and one for Gold. Got a plane and flew back with a Gold

  4. She beat all the women and all but the top 2 men. She’s the 3rd best discus throwing HUMAN on the planet.

Edit: TIL women and men don’t throw the same weight discus. She is still a beast though.

  5. Can someone explain why the female weight lifters all looked less jacked than the discus thrower.  I’d expect them to be body builder types.

  6. Curious if anyone knows why she has a pink nametag? Same with Sydney McLaughlin-levrone.

  7. She killed it. We have a tv on the wall at the office. She was definitely Muscle Mommy for a whole afternoon 🇺🇸 💪 💯

  8. I feel like I watched so much Olympics this year, more than I’ve ever watched and yet I still only saw a fraction of it
