What was your finding? Was any layout better or worse than any other?
Colemak looks the most balanced between the hands. Did you take the trouble to learn to blind-type each layout?
I can always tell when people are fake typing because they don’t use the space bar enough. That last image really shows how prevalent it is.
The heat maps shouldn’t be wobbly circles around each letter as they don’t impact each other. The space between letters isn’t a discrete stroke so why does it have a color? I get the idea of showing if you balanced strokes around the keyboard layout but the heat map instead of just a key color only confuses the actual information.
can i even take you seriously if hjkl and escape aren’t burningly red?
