If LA were to follow France’s novelty addition to their medals, what would their version of “Eiffel Tower iron” be?

  1. Maybe not a piece of anything. Maybe the medals can be star shaped. Tacky? Incredibly. But that’s the Los Angeles I know and of which I am modestly fond.

  2. While I enjoy the “a piece of the 405” comments, it gave me the thought of the correct answer: a bit of a Route 66 sign, the most famous highway in the world that happens to end in the Los Angeles County

  3. An insert of a golden angel representing LA and historical gold rush. That way everybody gets to take home some gold.

  4. a vial of celebrity souls sold to the illuminati

but seriously, unpolished gold or petrified red woods would be really cool. Both represent california

  5. Pink terrazzo like the stars on the walk of fame, even if I don’t love making everything “Hollywood,” we’re so much more than that. But it ties in to a lot of art deco architecture we have here. It would be cool to do that and design the metals with an art deco feel.
