Lunch Bargains from the butcher local to my office. Pen for scale of the hot roast pork and crackling, which is £3.50. Can you beat that? The sausage rolls are a meal in themselves!

  1. Jesus, those sausage rolls look divine, and only 2 quid each?! I need to move to wherever this is

  2. £2 looks like a bargain for the size of those sausage rolls! I’d be severely obese if this was near me!

  3. Those sausage rolls remind of the ones you can get from the food outlets at the NEC. Of course, they cost about 5 quid or so there although thankfully it went on expenses.

£2 is a bargain. I’d be tempted to get one every day though.

  4. I’ve been craving pork all day and then I see this. Cheers OP, ~~son’s~~ I’m crying.

  5. That is all well and good mate, but without a banana to scale the pen first, we have no chuffin’ clue!

  6. Last summer I paid €9 for a similar sized Sausage roll in Dublin. It was tasty ngl, but it still hurts to this day…

  7. Really putting the Penis in Penistone with the girth of those sausage rolls.

Will be going here next time in Sheffield, insane deal.

  8. I have to say, nothing beats our pork products in South Yorkshire.

I once saw a map showing the definition of north v south by plotting areas with higher per capita Gregg’s v Pret outlets. However, Sheffield and South Yorkshire were an anomaly because we have fewer Gregg’s, thanks to all the independent butchers and pork shops we have instead.

  9. Where I live in the US, an Aussie cafe sells similar sized sausage rolls for almost 15 dollars 🥹. I suppose they do come with a dollop of chutney…
