Relatives of a Russian POW could not believe it was their son. Presumably captured in the Kursk region.

  1. Anyone know where this is from? I have seen other videos with this Ukrainian interviewer before, he’s very good.

  2. They know it’s him, but reprisals, both to themselves and the son, are on the cards.

  3. Lol. My parents asked me about how much money did i get for my anti-war position. TV has too much influence on people

  4. “I refuse to accept reality” “end the call” “let’s watch Russian TV instead”

  5. well, glad she concluded it wasn’t him, I guess she would have been sad if it was him. hehehehehhe

  6. “This is not my Roma, he is fat!”

“It’s because they have been feeding me, mom!”

“This is not my Roma, end the call!”

  7. “He’s fat” 😅

Mother roasting him as he is POW

Best thing is the Jim Halpert look into the camera from the Ukrainian at the end

  8. How stupid can you be, they got your phone number, and a guy who “just so happens” to look like your son? Put two and two together idiots. Unironically, WAKE UP!

Imagine being captured in another country and your mom not wanting to talk to you, and then calling you a fatty.

  9. Poor fucker. If i were to identify with my parents, i would refer to Storys from my childhood or family legends (the ones told every Single gathering)…

  10. This calling the PoW’s parents thing is more important than I realized.

It’s helping to spread the message that Russia is losing more than the government wants them to believe. What’s more important is that this can directly impact people who are so deeply fucked by Putin’s propaganda that nothing else would convince them that they’re on the losing side.

  11. This just shows the lack of connection in russian families, instead of asking him something only he would know they ask to see physical features that could be faked if they seen his body…
