I commented last Thursday on the complaints thread about my local pub where I was the bar manager closing its doors. The landlord told me that once he was done stripping the place that I could have anything I wanted that was left so I went back there today with my dad and dug up the 9 foot olive tree that was in the garden. It had only been planted there a year and a bit but now I’m just praying it survives the 1/4 mile wheelbarrow trip it made from one end of the village to the other

Wow that’s awesome I’d love an olive tree , you may need a bigger pot haha
We have also trimmed the new growth and removed all the olives that were growing on it to make sure the plant uses its energy to grow roots rather than leaves and fruit
