Xavi was a success as a manager. 1 league title in 2 full seasons against a Madrid that had come from winning a CL.
I really like and believe in Flick, but he has to win a league title this season or the next, or else it will be a failure.
Man it was already miserable to see Xavi being treated like that and if this is true it has become even more miserable. Sigh
I still believe with a better attacking front and less freak injuries last season we could have won something. Alas it was not meant to be. Gavi and FDJ for a full season with previous season Lewy we would have been flying.

I still remember some fans in this sub were criticizing Xavi when he said his advice to the next manager (Flick) was that the job was going to be hard. Saying that he didn’t want the next guy to succeed or something.
Xavi is way too good imo. He genuinely wants the best for the club despite being treated that way by the higher ups. And the only one who was willing to be honest and seemed sane amid the chaos at this club imo.
He spent out of his pocket to help us in desperate time
he went out of his way to call n help Flick.

I will miss Xavi. I hope he has another chance to lead us, one thing i am sure he loves Barca more than anyone i have seen.

Unless I’ve forgotten an angry moment, I was never Xavi out. Always respected him and believed he had everything to succeed and bring continuing success to the club.

i mean okay it is written there that flick said it, but i did not see this anywhere else.
I definitely see Xavi coming back as a great manager someday. With a slightly better squad, less injuries, and ditching some of those staff from Qatar I think he could be great.
I just hope someday he will return better to a better barca and to not make this specific experience with the team enough to sway him away from future jobs in the club
