UK-donated tanks used in Ukraine’s Russia incursion, BBC told | BBC News
UK-donated Challenger 2 tanks have been used by Ukraine as part of its surprise incursion into Russia, a UK source has confirmed.
The Ministry of Defence is not officially commenting on what specific UK weapons are being used by Ukraine.
However, following Kyiv’s incursion into Russian territory the department reiterated that Ukraine had “a clear right” to use UK-supplied weapons for “self defence against Russia’s illegal attacks”.
The UK is one of the biggest donors of military aid to Ukraine, behind the US and Germany.

What has happened to the BBC? They used to claim “keep calm and carry on” and now they question a conflict where we Britains have everything to lose. It reminds me of Nazi Germanys invasion of Poland. It’s only going to get worse. Don’t forget,Russia amassed a great army along the Ukrainian border before this conflict, and told the world they were simply doing military exercises. Then they invaded. Wake up!

a. see if Russians can ramp up their retaliation strength
b. see if the Allies object to using their weapons inside Russia → in future, coax them into supplying longer-range weapons to strike inside Russia
